Got the book Galley in the Mail today.

Wow. I can’t describe what it feels like to physically hold my book. I just received the galley today. A book galley is printed version of a book that’s sent to the author for final approval. Here it is. Ain’t it gorgeous?

After being on the internet since 1994, and having a website since then that closed down in 2001, I’m finally back up on a permanent basis, well, as permanent as a website can be. I have my own domain and website now! Woohoo! Here it is, Davesnewadventure.com

I was pressed for time, because I had to meet up with Marco in Cusco for an expedition. So, I raced for Ayacucho. Along the way, I slogged through mudslides, land slides, and learned about the people who live in this remote and harsh landscape.

A Great Interview with Bolivian Television Talk Show Host, John Arrandia, on Que No Me Pierdas

While in Bolivia, I had the opportunity to appear on “Que No Me Pierdas”, which is a talk show that’s styled like Larry King Live, but with a lot more intelligence, and wit as well. The host of the show is John Arrandia, and we talked at length about my expedition, my goals, and what I was doing and demonstrating to the people. In particular, we talked about the power of the mind, which is one of my favorite things to study. Anyway, this is only good if you can speak and understand spanish, I haven’t been able to put subtitles in yet. The show was later rebroadcast through all of Latin America to an audience of about a half billion people. The cool thing is you get to see some footage of my trip!
